Havenwood House

About this Project

Havenwood House began as a family gift of land in a quiet Brighton cul-de-sac, but faced planning disputes, a lengthy VCAT process and the original builder's bankruptcy. Atlas Architects was engaged to rethink the home from first principles, delivering a contemporary, low-maintenance design suited to multigenerational living and ageing in place. Inverting suburban convention, living spaces open to a landscaped front garden and the street, embracing the mature street tree, light and community.
