About this Project

A compact Malaysian laksa eatery fitted out by Zeid Projects. The design brief was warmth and continuity, so polytec Rubra Oak was carried across cabinetry, wall linings and the ceiling as a single wrapping material, with joinery and lining junctions set out so the grain reads unbroken from servery to rear dining. The result is a low maintenance, hard wearing surface suited to a busy food venue, achieved within a modest tenancy budget.
