Rye Kitchen Project

About this Project

We were asked to design and create a new kitchen for a coastal property on the Mornington Peninsula. The kitchen was located in the centre of a long rectangular open-plan room. To provide privacy to the bedrooms, we designed the kitchen to include a 6 m stretch of freestanding tall joinery and panels, and a 5.5 m Island Bench with coffee and cooking zones. The main joinery colour is a deep-sea blue, with accents in a rich woodgrain installed inside the glass cabinets and on shadow line details.
