Crafer's Kitchen

About this Project

A beautiful mid-century modern home in Crafers that had been relatively untouched required the kitchen to be sensitively updated to suit a busy family who love to gather, cook and entertain. The success of this renovation is achieved by flipping the kitchen and dining room to create a large island bench as a much-needed touchpoint. Critical to the family was being true to the original aesthetic with any changes not impacting the stramit (thatched) ceiling, original terrazzo and timber cladding.
