About this Project

Huang Ying Jung Nursing Home situated in Gordon, Sydney is a beautifully designed facility for the Chinese community. Meli Studio, as the Interior Architects, aimed to create a home that embraced environmental sustainability through its "green tag" while simultaneously offering a remarkable and cozy ambiance reminiscent of a boutique hotel. Thanks to polytec the design incorporated timber laminate joinery in kitchens, servery areas, and resident bedrooms to create a homely atmosphere.
