The inspiration for this project was ‘Mid Century Modern’. It has retro design elements within the furniture and accessories; however it has been modernised via the use of edgy colours and joinery design. By bordering the Cinder Matt with Nataio Walnut Woodmatt, we have created a sleek contemporary Kitchen, Butler’s Pantry, and Laundry. Through utilising only the Nataio Walnut Woodmatt in the wet areas has allowed for warmth to be added to these typically cold spaces.
