Gable Extension

About this Project

A contemporary, barn style extension was the perfect remedy to a once underused courtyard. The existing home situated in a rural suburb in Tasmania has a country feel, so it was important to the clients that we created a light filled, contemporary space that would coexist sympathetically with the original dwelling. The result is a gentle, thoughtfully designed indoor/outdoor living space that has transformed not only the functionality of the home but also the client's experience of the space.
