About this Project

The design philosophy for this 140 bed residential aged care facility was to create a private home environment that looks and feels like a high end hotel, yet caters to the needs of the residents, visitors, and staff. The residents’ bedrooms are designed to be a long stay apartment with an ensuite, wardrobe, and a kitchenette. The Thermolaminated ‘Berrilee’ style joinery door panels were used to create a home like look and feel. This joinery design was integrated into the dementia ward kitchens
