With limited space to work with, Tia Interiors moved the fridge into the pantry behind the kitchen and installed a ceiling range hood making way for impacting joinery. They chose polytec Venette Oxford for its depth of colour and being sympathetic to the seaside environment, this was used in the shadow lines on the island bench to contrast against the veneer.
