About this Project

Your Local was created by transforming a derelict building in the Subiaco heritage precinct. The gastropub needed to be vibrant, warm, and welcoming. This was achieved by using Prime Oak on customised joinery and as inserts within bespoke steel wall cladding. Not only does Prime Oak add warmth through colour, but its textural appearance also sits dynamically with adjacent finishes and replicates a natural timber finish. And being able to utilise this finish in compact laminate was an added benefit.
